Our Roots
My name is Ana Khan, and I am the Founder, Owner, and CEO of Khani by Ana Khan.
I come from a small town called Bradford, in the United Kingdom, where I was raised by my incredible mother alongside my four siblings. As a single parent, my mother provided us with the best upbringing possible, grounded in our religion, Islam, and enriched with deep respect for our culture and heritage.
From a young age, I was surrounded by nature and learned to appreciate the benefits it offers. My mother taught us to rely on natural ingredients, whether through her home-cooked meals or her simple, effective remedies for everyday illnesses. Despite life’s challenges, she was always smiling, content, and glowing both inside and out.
The Inspiration
My mother’s secret was beautifully simple. She used natural ingredients and homemade formulas, never relying on expensive products or complex skincare routines. This natural and mindful approach became the foundation of my passion for clean beauty.
As I grew older and began raising a family of my own, I became increasingly aware of what we were putting on our skin. I tried countless products even the most luxurious ones yet they often contained harsh chemicals or overpowering fragrances that failed to deliver real results. That experience inspired me to create something different something pure.
